Jenelle Barton, 22, of Maine Township, is charged with two counts of aggravated battery and criminal trespass. Authorities say Barton was drunk when she entered a home illegally around 5:45 a.m. Sunday. The homeowner called 9-1-1 and reported a stranger entered the home.
She allegedly attacked the responding officers as they escorted her out of the home, kicking one officer in the chest and biting the other officer's hand. The officer who was bitten was taken to a local hospital.
Barton's bond was set at $5,000.
