OB Kennedy lanes reopen after fatal crash

All lanes on the outbound Kennedy from Irving Park to Cumberland had been closed after the crash around 6:10 a.m. All reopened by 9:45 a.m.

Traffic that had gotten stuck on the expressway after the blockade at Irving was allowed to drive through on the shoulder around 7 a.m. One lane and shoulder reopened for traffic around 8 a.m. A second lane reopened after 9 a.m.

At least two people were injured, though information on their conditions or which hospital they were taken to was not immediately available, according to state police.
