Pets from Oklahoma shelter headed to Chicago for adoption

Fifty-one dogs and 25 cats from Oklahoma are headed to Chicago to find new homes. All of them were in the shelter before the tornado.

PAWS Chicago is bringing them here, so the shelter in Oklahoma has room to care for those pets separated from their owners during the storm.

Of course the hope is those animals will eventually be reunited with their owners.

The dogs and cats coming to Chicago will be available for adoption some as early as Monday.
