Tyler the Creator tweets Justin Bieber alibi in Keyshawn Johnson spat

June 3, 2013

Johnson says the teen idol was zipping through their gated neighborhood in his Ferrari, at highway speeds while Johnson's kids were playing in the street.

It is a real-life "Fast and Furious" drama - pitting teenaged Ferrari driver Justin Bieber against his angry neighbor, Keyshawn Johnson.

"You got a 19-year-old kid feeling entitled; speeding up and down the highway," Johnson said.

The retired NFL wide receiver and ESPN analyst is finally speaking to TMZ about their Memorial Day faceoff.

"All I want to do is protect my kids. I got a 1-year-old and 3-year-old. He's speeding through a residential neighborhood. That's why all the neighbors is mad," Johnson said.

Johnson lives down the street from the Beebs - inside the gates of an exclusive southern California neighborhood. Witnesses say Bieber, who even has a song, called "Ride," hit nearly 100 miles per hour as he raced through the mansion-lined streets.

"He has to answer to the D.A.'s office, and not me. So, the bottom - at the end of the day - him and his handlers, his goons, or whatever they are to him - his henchmen - they gotta protect him. I don't have to protect him," Johnson said.

Bieber is no stranger to fast cars and speeding tickets - but he could face a misdemeanor reckless driving charge. While police could present their findings to prosecutors this week, Bieber may have an alibi named Tyler the Creator.

The rapper and record producer tweeted over the weekend that he - not his buddy, Beebs - was driving, saying, "Don't Blame Him. People Are Evil Swearing That It Was Who It Wasn't."

"Look man, I know the difference between a black kid driving a car and a white kid driving a car. So, if he loses control - at 19 years old - and all we gonna be able to do is say, 'Oh, I'm so sorry. Damn sorry! Didn't do it.' You did!" Johnson said.

No comment from Bieber's camp, as the D.A. could soon decide whether he's a speed demon or whether critics are taking him for a ride.
