Open water swimmers Gary Emich and Steven Hurwitz arrived at Aquatic Park only 40 minutes after leaving The Rock. It was a record for both men who are members of the South End Rowing Club.
Tuesday's swim was a fundraiser for Hospice by the Bay, South End Rowing Club and the Bay Keeper Foundation.
The men say they felt great but it was a little cold. The water temperature in the bay was about 54 degrees.
