1. Nervous about the bright color? Pair it with nude tones or opt for lemon accessories (scarf, cuff, shoes or handbag)
2. Lemon zest isn't ideal for everyone.
If you're on the pale side, try to find a more muted yellow like butter. Redheads wear yellows with red undertones best, such as gold and honey yellow. Those with dark hair and dark eyes can wear any shade of yellow.
3. Know when to wear it.
Heading to a job interview -- yellow is probably not the best choice. Yellow is a great choice around children, as they respond positively to bright colors. Lemon is also an instant mood elevator- so if you're feeling blue, think yellow.

1. Although lemon is a warm color, it is a surprisingly complementary color to almost any other hue: green, gray, blue, khaki, tangerine, poppy, etc.
