Sleep important to heart health

Newly released research finds a good night's sleep is very important to the health of your heart.

A study of 15,000 men and women found those getting more than seven hours of shut-eye each night are 22 percent less likely to have heart disease.

Getting enough sleep boosts the benefits of other heart-healthy habits, such as exercise, eating right and not smoking.

The research is published in the European Journal of Preventative Cardiology.
