Fire Up A Cure

July 20, 2013 (CHICAGO)

The Cure It Foundation will host the second annual Fire Up A Cure event at Saint Xavier University.

On this day of camaraderie, compassion, and community, Chicagoland firefighters will compete in events to raise awareness and money for pediatric cancer research. Dr. Jason Canner, President & Co-Founder of the Cure It Foundation, Emily Beazley, pediatric cancer survivor, T-Cell Lymphoma & honorary coach for a Chicago Fire Department team, and Tony Richko, Jr., Chicago Firefighter with Engine 120 and Fire Up A Cure participant, came into our ABC7 studio to tell us about this fun family event and the cause it supports.
