Two-year-old Patrick is the son of one of Bush's Secret Service security detail. Members of the detail have also launched a website to assist with Patrick's medical bills and have organized a motorcycle ride and benefit in Maine near the Bush's summer home, according to a press release from the former president's office.
The Bush family donated to "Patrick's Pals" and the former president shaved his head in solidarity with the boy who is losing his hair during his cancer treatment. The Bushes lost their second child Robin to leukemia 60 years ago this fall.
