Public hearing held on CPS budget

Chicago Public School leaders got an earful Thursday night at a public hearing about next year's budget.

The budget makes $68 million in classroom cuts, including teacher layoffs.

Taxes will go up and reserves will be tapped to make up a huge deficit.

CPS says most of that is caused by higher pension costs.
