A northwest Indiana woman who lost $4,000 got it back thanks to a woman who thought returning the cash was the ''right thing to do.''

Merrillville police say a young, pregnant woman found the money in a parking lot last month and turned it in July 5. Though she admitted she could really use the cash, she turned it in to police.

The Crown Point owner came forward saying the money had fallen out of her pocket. She was able to tell police the precise amount, the denomination of the bills, and had a receipt from the bank. She says she wants to give a reward to the woman who found it.
