Blackhawks regular-season single-game tickets on sale Monday at 10 a.m.

The Chicago Blackhawks announced Thursday that single-game tickets for the team's 2013-14 regular-season home games at the United Center will go on sale on Monday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets on ChicagoBlackhawks.com, by visiting any Ticketmaster location or by calling (800) 745-3000.

The Blackhawks begin their defense of the Stanley Cup when the club hosts the Washington Capitals on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at the United Center, marking the first time since 2005-06 that the Blackhawks begin the season on home ice.

Twenty-four of the team's 41 home contests will take place on weekends, including seven Fridays, five Saturdays and 12 Sundays. Six of the team's first eight games will be played at the United Center and the Blackhawks host a season-high, four-game homestand on three separate occasions (Oct. 11-19, Jan. 12-19 and March 19-25).

Beginning this season, Blackhawks evening games at the United Center will move to 7 p.m. start times. Select games may begin earlier or later due to national television broadcasts.
