Student artists display photography after Charlie Trotter cancels event

September 7, 2013 (CHICAGO)

Saturday night's exhibit was rescheduled after the students were kicked out of Charlie Trotter's former restaurant last week.

Video provided by the Sun-Times shows students waiting outside while Trotter allegedly locked their photographs inside the building.

The students told the Sun-Times the famous chef locked them out because their instructor refused to order them to clean.

Saturday night's exhibit took place at the artists frame service in Lincoln Park.

Money raised from the event will help benefit the program.
