Carnival is calling it the "great vacation guarantee."
Under the new policy if a passenger is not satisfied with their cruise, carnival is offering a 110 percent refund.
That full refund plus 10 percent also comes with free transportation home and a $100 on-board credit.
Carnival Cruise passengers must notify the cruise line about their dissatisfaction within 24 hours of boarding a shop.
This follows mechanical issues on board the Carnival Dream and an engine fire on the Carnival Triumph that stranded thousands of passengers at sea in February.
