The event raises money for the Society, so it can help those in need in Cook and Lake counties. The race will also feature a collection box for shoe donations, which will go to the St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores. You can also donate shoes at four New Balance Chicago locations. Those who donate shoes get a coupon for 10% off on the purchase of new shoes at New Balance Chicago.
