No charges after Benedictine University sex assault allegations

September 24, 2013 (LISLE, Ill.)

Lisle police and the DuPage County state's attorney have found there was not sufficient evidence to pursue charges. Authorities say they interviewed several people before ending their investigation.

The female students say the attack happened at a residence hall Sept. 15. Police said they interviewed six people of interest, all of them male students.

The university had said there is what it calls "linkage," indicating the women may have known the alleged attackers.
