DCFS tells ABC7: ''DCFS has launched an investigation into the child's grandmother, mother and father for abuse immediately yesterday after receiving a hotline call at approximately 1:30 pm. Like 75 percent of the suspicious death reports we receive each year, DCFS had no prior reports of abuse or neglect regarding this family."
On Thursday morning, Chicago police said they were called to a home in the 6000-block of S. Honore for an unresponsive child. Four other minors, visiting with their families, vacated the home on Friday.
Chicago police and DCFS are investigating.
