Actress Michelle Hurst joins us to chat about her prolific career, her role as 'Miss Claudette' on "Orange Is The New Black," and why she's in town to honor the founder of an important advocacy group for women in prison.
TONIGHT'S BENEFIT INFORMATION:
The benefit will take place from 4-8PM on October 2 at the Chicago Cultural Center.
The first half of the event will take place from 4-530PM and be free and open to the public. It will feature an educational program in the Claudia Cassidy Theater led by Dr. Beth Richie.
The program will be followed by a cocktail reception from 6-8PM featuring live jazz from the Lucy Smith Quartet, signature cocktails, and a celebratory video highlighting Gail's legacy and CLAIM's 28-year history.
