Among the attendees was Mariana Atencio, who was just named one of the co-hosts of "The Morning Show" on Fusion.
It's the joint cable news venture between ABC News and Univision geared toward the millennial generation.
"I don't think there is really a place where they have found a voice and they feel really identified with," Atencio said. "And we're hoping Fusion is that place, where they can get informed, have fun and be themselves."
Atencio says the network will blend news with comedy and new media elements.
It will launch this month on October 28.
