Pink Line train crash with car in Cicero

November 12, 2013 (CICERO)

The CTA says the car was travelling southbound on Cicero when it crashed into an eastbound Pink Line train just departing the Cicero station.

No injuries were reported, the transit agency said, but both the car and the train were damaged.

Pink Line trains were only operating between Pulaski and the Loop as of 9:20 a.m., according to the CTA. Shuttle bus service was in place between Pulaski and 54th Street.
