On Friday, November 22, 2013, the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation is inviting you to its 11th Annual Conference to learn about Latinos and their role in Illinois.

There will be workshops and discussions about jobs and more. ABC 7 Eyewitness News is a media sponsor. State Rep. Elizabeth Hernandez, 24th District (Cicero - Berwyn - Little Village), and State Rep. Cynthia Soto, 4th District (Northwest side of Chicago), co-chair of the ILLCF, came into our ABC 7 Eyewitness News studio to talk about the event. Since it falls on the 50th anniversary of the tragic death of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, the Latino Caucus is placing special emphasize on the importance of President Kennedy's vision of the "New Frontier."
