A Taylorville police officer is accused of stealing from a program that provides young people gifts for the holiday.
Twenty-year veteran police officer Brad Molohon was arrested last week for allegedly stealing from the program called "Shop with a Cop."
Officer Molohon was booked on theft charges and later released on $5,000 bond.
No word on how much money was taken from the program.
Taylorville police promise those who already donated will get their money back.
