Bill Peters attended Glenbard East in Lombard. He joined the Navy after 9/11. While serving, he's been away from his wife, Heather, and son, Xander.
Peters' family asked the Warriors Watch Riders to come out Friday night to make this homecoming extra special.
Peters isn't the first in his family to serve this country. His grandfather was a Navy Seal for 22 years.
