Park Ridge police honored Officer Kenneth King with one of the department's highest honors on Monday night-- its Lifesaving Award.

In August, King responded to reports of an unresponsive man near Touhy and Wisner. He found 62-year-old Bradford Wisniewski face down on the sidewalk.

King immediately began rendering first aid and CPR.

On Monday night, Wisniewski was able to thank him for the first time.
