The latest study of holiday travel plans for Chicago-area residents reveals 38 percent will leave town.

Also, approximately 50 percent of those people plan to fly for the holiday, and 47 percent will drive to their destinations.

The Trip Advisor study indicates 61 percent of Chicago residents find the December holidays the most stressful time of the year to travel. The top stressor is inclement weather.

And the most annoying holiday song to hear while traveling, "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus," the study showed.
