Police have charged three men with felony offenses in a North Side home invasion that occured at approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 2700 block of N. Mango.
Police say offenders forced their way into vthe ictim's home when one of the offenders fired a handgun and struck the victim.
The victim, 46, was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in serious but stable condition.
The offenders were taken into custody, and Area North Detectives were able to secure charges.
Police arrested and charged Jose Barriga, 18, Sergio Mayim, 22, of the 2500 block of N. Mango and Matthew Andras, 25 .
Barriga, Maymi and Andras are scheduled to be in court on Thursday.
