The owner of PK Bennett Jewelers in Mundelein ran a holiday promotion. He said if it snowed three or more inches on New Year's Day, customers would get their money back.
The promotion covered purchases made between Black Friday and Christmas Eve. Rich Bennett tells Eyewitness News he's waiting to hear from the company weather command to estimate the snowfall total.
