Twenty-year-old Thomas Brown of Lake Villa and 22-year-old Daniel Swan of Fox Lake both face multiple felony charges.
The Lake County Sheriff's Department says the men placed an ad for hydrocodone pills on craigslist.
They were arrested Monday when they allegedly tried to sell those pills to undercover sheriff's detectives.
Brown is also accused of allegedly ramming his minivan into a squad car as he tried to flee detectives.
