Dale Mathews, a tech sergeant, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana was among four US Air Force crew members killed in a training mission.
The helicopter went down in a marshland nature preserve Tuesday night on the coast of Norfolk on the east side of England.
Mathews cousin said he died doing what he loved.
Mathews leaves behind a wife, two children and two stepchildren.
There's no word yet on the cause of the crash.
