Police say a 22-year-old man was shot to death inside a restaurant in the 800-block of Lake Street in Aurora around 7:30 p.m. Monday. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Two men were seen running from the restaurant.
Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, a 22-year-old woman was fatally shot in a home in the 500-block of Charles Street in what appears to be a domestic situation. Police say she was arguing with a 45-year-old man outside a home in that block when she was shot in the abdomen.
A man is in custody in the second shooting, but charges have not been filed.
