Brian Church, Jared Chase and Brent Betterly have pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including arson and conspiracy to commit terrorism.
A state's attorney spokesperson says by dropping the charges, they have streamlined the case against the three.
The men have been jailed since their arrests just before the NATO Summit.
