Governor Pat Quinn was in McCook Wednesday to present the award to the owners and employees at Tru-Vue Incorporated.
It goes to smaller businesses that have a good safety records and safety programs that exceed OSHA requirements.
The company makes materials for non-glare glass framing that's used by museums and retail stores.
So far, 28 companies have been given the award.
