The number of people in Illinois who have enrolled for affordable health care has climbed higher. The latest figures show 88,602 people have enrolled through "Get Covered Illinois" since October 1.

Senator Dick Durbin toured the PCC South Family Health Center in Berwyn, where the staff is working to enroll more residents.

"This is the right move for us to make these services available to people. This is part of an evolution of our healthcare system," said Sen. Durbin.

The senator praised the PCC clinic for helping provide general medical services to people who would otherwise have to seek it at an emergency room.
