Firefighter Tom Faucher's commanding officer saw the woman struggling across Elm Street in Manchester, NH, Thursday afternoon. Faucher jumped out of his fire truck to help her across the street, and was photographed by people nearby.
"We're here to serve the people, so that's what we come to work every day for," Faucher told ABC affiliate WMUR.
The woman has not been identified.
