Police say 46-year-old Jean Attis led them on a chase through the streets of Keansburg Saturday afternoon.
The whole thing started when they recognized his license plates from two previous drunk driving arrests in a 17-hour period earlier in the week.
Attis was arrested for the third time after crashing into a fire hydrant.
Besides the DWI count, Attis also faces charges of eluding and numerous motor vehicle citations. He was being held on $20,000 cash bail.
