Inmate who escaped Chicago prison tells judge to 'stick it' at sentence hearing

February 24, 2014 (CHICAGO)

Back in December 2012, Kenneth Conley and his cellmate escaped from their cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center downtown by tying bed sheets together.

The 40-year-old was already serving 20 years for bank robbery, and on Monday a judge added 3.5 more years to his sentence.

That's when Conley told the judge to "stick it," and even suggested he increase his sentence.

The judge said "thanks," but declined.
