At least one person has died after a building fire Wednesday morning in Chicago's River North neighborhood.

The fire broke out around 10:30 this morning at 365 N. Canal in Chicago.

At least one person has died.

Crews said the fire was isolated to one unit of the four-unit building.

Firefighters say there were non-working smoke detectors in the unit.
