Schaumburg Township Elementary District's 54 board members issued a letter of reprimand to Superintendent Andy Du Ross after a closed meeting late Wednesday night.
Board members also called for his five year contract to be renegotiated, according to the Daily Herald.
Du Ross was originally charged with two counts of DUI when he was pulled over in February by Naperville police.
Earlier this week, Du Ross pleaded guilty to a charge of reckless driving. He was sentenced to one year of court supervision.
