With St. Patrick's Day around the corner, festivities are underway all weekend around Chicagoland.

On Saturday, March 15, 2014, the river will be dyed green at 9:30 a.m. Chicago's St. Patrick's Day parade takes place at 12 p.m. and goes along Columbus from Balbo to Monroe. ABC 7 is the broadcast partner for the parade. Our float will feature Stacey Baca, Mark Giangreco, Tracy Butler, Steve Dolinsky, Tanja Babich and Phil Schwarz. The 2014 Chicago St. Patrick's Day Queen, Lauren Catinella, and her Court, Lauren Corry, Mary Kate Casey, Erin Mulcahy and Moira Dolehide, came into our ABC 7 Eyewitness News studio to tell us how they earned the honors and what to expect at the parade.

You can also watch the parade again from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2014, on ABC 7 and on demand here on www.abc7chicago.com.
