Ice jams on Rock River force evacuations

People in western Illinois have been evacuated because of flooding caused by ice jams on the Rock River in Moline.

Officials say the river overflowed its banks just north of the Quad-City International Airport.

People who live nearby say this happens every spring when the temperatures start to warm up.

However this year the flooding has happened much sooner than usual.
