Ricardo Muti, music director of The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, will give this year's commencement address at Northwestern University.

A Chicago music standout will give the commencement address in June at Northwestern University.

Riccardo Muti, music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra will not only address the class of 2014, he will also receive an honorary degree.

Muti is one of five people to receive this honor. Other past winners include, singer Stevie Wonder and actress Cloris Leachman.
