High birch, oak pollen counts can trigger other allergies

April 7, 2014

Birch and oak trees have the highest pollen count in the Midwest right now, according to Joseph Leija, the allergist behind the Gottlieb allergy count.

Leija says many reactions may be harmless, but difficulty breathing and itchy rashes are signs you should see a doctor.
