Video captures suspect watching sleeping baby during Texas burglary

HOUSTON

It happened back on April 5 at a home in the 18200 block of Flint Hill Drive in west Harris County.

"He's really gutsy," said the victim, Thinh Le.

A neighbor told Thinh Le his laptop computer and briefcase were found in that neighbor's yard. The items, says the victim, were in his home the night before.

After an investigation, it was determined $60 in cash was also taken from a wallet in the home.

Surveillance video captured the suspect walking through the home, even peeking in on a sleeping baby.

"I was infuriated when I saw him in my baby's room," Le said.

Le says at one point the two make eye contact and then his little boy goes back to sleep.

"He looked up and at some of the cameras and saw and made some statement that I'm here and don't care," Le said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 16 to 18 years old. He was wearing a New Era baseball cap with a San Antonio Spurs logo on the brim. He also has a tattoo behind his right ear, possibly of Asian characters.

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity in this case and/or location is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS or to submit a tip via the iWatchHarrisCounty phone app.
