Easter egg-stravaganza - Lincoln Park Zoo

The Easter bunny is going to be very busy this weekend! Lincoln Park Zoo is one of many locations hosting an Easter egg-stravaganza on Saturday. The Chicago Park District has nearly a dozen locations for egg hunts and bunny meet and greets.

While you're in the neighborhood, you should visit the Lincoln Park Conservatory for the Spring Flower Show. Nothing says spring like these beautiful, colorful blossoms! The show runs through May 11 and is free.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - Music Box Theatre

If you just can't get your fill of Easter chocolate, the Music Box Theatre can help! The theater is hosting a special screening of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" Sunday at 2 p.m. Come early and in costume for a pre-show sing-a-long!

Chicago Palestine Film Festival - Gene Siskel Film Center

Also on the film beat, the Chicago Palestine Film Festival gets underway Saturday with a red carpet event at the Gene Siskel Film Center. Ten films will be screened at the Siskel center, and there will be one special screening at Moraine Valley Community College next Sunday. The festival runs through May 1.

Cheaper by the Dozen - Pheasant Run, St. Charles

On the theater beat, the coming of age comedy "Cheaper by the Dozen" is now in performance at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles. It runs through May 18.

Les Miserables - Drury Lane Theatre, Oakbrook Terrace

And at the Drury Lane Oakbrook, the legendary musical "Les Miserables" is getting rave reviews with good reason. This is one of the most incredible productions of "Les Miserables" I've ever seen! It runs through June 8.

Have a great weekend everybody!
