Car pulled from Fox River in Elgin

Authorities in northwest suburban Elgin removed a vehicle from the Fox River Tuesday morning.

Police responded to the incident about 7 a.m. near Interstate 90 and Dundee Road, or just south of the I-90 bridge, said Elgin Police Cmdr. Ana Lalley.

The car was pulled from the river around 9 a.m., at which time police confirmed no one was inside. Police said the car had been stolen.
