Hudak is one of three former Schaumburg officers accused of running a drug ring by re-selling cocaine and marijuana they stole from drug dealers and police seizures.
Hudak pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance, official misconduct, burglary and offense of armed violence. He told the judge he was sorry for his actions and for casting a "dark shadow" on the police enforcement community.
He faces up to 30 years in prison.
Hudak, and co-defendants John Cichy and Matthew Hudak all resigned from the Schaumburg Police Department.
