Poll: Mayor Emanuel lagging in reelection bid

May 10, 2014 (CHICAGO)

It finds that only 1 on 5 Chicago voters think Mayor Emanuel is doing a better job than his predecessor Richard Daley.

Only 29 percent would vote for Emanuel if the election was held today.

And while she hasn't announced any plans to run, the Chicago Sun-Times poll found Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle would receive the support of 26 percent of those polled.

However, 27 percent were undecided about who to support among a variety of candidates.
