2016 Honda Pilot SUV to make global debut at Chicago Auto Show

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The new 2016 Honda Pilot SUV will make its global debut at this year's Chicago Auto Show on Feb. 12 at 9:30 a.m.

Designed and manufactured in the US, it offers new technology and safety features as well as a class-leading fuel economy. During the exhibit, Honda will also release details about its new Ridgeline truck.

The Pilot SUV is part of a new lineup that will include the Honda CR-V and the Honda HR-V crossover, which will launch this spring. The redesigned, eight-passenger Pilot SUV will launch at U.S. Honda dealerships this summer.

The original Honda Pilot was released in 2002.
