What kind of ad do you want to watch? Honda's cool new "Other Side" film puts you in the driver's seat.

We've seen the choose-your-own-ad deal before, but you usually have to watch an intro video before clicking at the end to decide where to go next.

With this ad, though, you can switch back and forth seamlessly between two very different (but visually similar) stories using your keyboard.

Here's a teaser of what it looks like (Yes, this ad has its own trailer).

The daytime story line centers around a dad picking his kids up from school, while his nighttime alter ego picks up two masked criminals who have just pulled off a heist. Both stories have surprise endings that, of course, match up visually.

The way the viewer switches back and forth between the two is a clever play on words. You type 'R.' The campaign is to promote Honda's new Civic Type R, which will be out next year.

Honda and the film's creators said in a press release that they hope the ad will mirror the experience of driving.

"It's like going into race mode, and putting your foot down. You get a sense of power and excitement," said Scott Dungate, the creative director behind the film. "Through this we hope people will feel Honda's other side as well as see it."

Want to experience it for yourself? You can only watch the video on Honda's special YouTube page.
