Suburban car dealer wins snow bet, no free cars

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- While many in the area are upset about not having a white Christmas, one auto dealership is celebrating.

Bill Kay GMC in Downers Grove made a bet with buyers on Black Friday.

If they bought a vehicle the day after Thanksgiving, and then there was six inches of snow on the ground on Christmas Day, they would get to keep the car and get their money back.

No snow, so no free cars this year.
